How To Stay Calm in Fortnite

Hello guys! I want to make this guide to help you if you sometimes get panicked during the game. The game can sometimes give you butterflies in your stomach, and that’s normal. Most people will feel worried or stressed when playing a game, especially when its a good game or if its the final circles. I hope that this guide helps.

1. Start landing in hot locations:

Landing in hot locations will definitely boost your confidence. This is because you will have to fight a good amount of players with limited ammo, mats, and weird weapons that you would never use in the endgame. Landing in hot locations in also make you better at the game, since aim will be a key aspect to winning fights. I would recommend Salty Springs, because of how small it is, you will almost have another person going inside your house.

2. Keep yourself occupied

You will get nervous feelings a lot when you are just rotating or if you are walking to locations. You don’t know where any enemies are, and you feel like your about to get shot in the back. If you have your phone nearby, listen to music, especially calming music. Your mind will be less dazed and nervous and more relaxed. Talking to friends in parties or chats will also help, because your not going to talk about anything serious most of the time, so your mind won’t be just focused on “when am I going to get attacked” all the time.

3. Analyse the situation

When you are in a fight, mainly endgame, you will sometimes get a time to heal up before you fight again. Just think about the situation slowly. “I have x amount of health, and the enemy took about x damage, but could also heal x back. I will do this and that” You make a plan of attack, and you should try to do it as quickly as possible, because 2 minutes later the fight will be over. Don’t overthink the situation, because that will make you more stressed. The key thing you have think about is the health you and your enemy have. There is no point stressing and over analysing something that will be over in minutes
